Steps to Invest
What happens, in order, from account to funded investment.
Verification & Compliance
The first two steps are open to anyone. The rest are triggered by the round you pick, so you only complete them when you are actually investing.
- 1
Create your account
Sign up with your email and confirm the address. At signup you self-certify that you are 18 or over, that you are not an Indian resident, and that you qualify as an accredited investor. Nothing is held for manual approval.
- 2
Choose a live round
Browse the marketplace, read the pitch and the offering documents, then press Invest on the round you want and enter your amount.
- 3
Identity verification (KYC / AML)
Your identity is checked before you can commit. This runs first because accreditation cannot start until it has come back approved. Your details go straight to our verification partner.
- 4
Accreditation verification
This starts on its own the moment you commit to a live round, once your identity check is approved. There is nothing to launch from your account. Once verified it holds for two years.
- 5
Tax form
A W-9 if you are a US person, a W-8BEN if you are not. Needed before the round closes rather than before you commit.
- 6
Subscription agreement and funding
You review and sign the subscription agreement for that specific offering, then transfer your investment to the escrow account of the deal's US SPV.
These steps are required by regulation. You are guided through each one from the deal you are investing in, and our team is available if you need help with any document.
